FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The City of Fort Wayne shares a portion of Fairfield Avenue will soon undergo a months-long construction project.

According to the city’s public works department, beginning Monday, July 13, Fairfield Avenue will experience lane restrictions between W Belmont Street and Cox Drive.

The City says travel will be restricted to one lane in each direction, and there will be no left turn from northbound Fairfield Avenue to Paulding Road.

The closure is necessary for sidewalk installation and is expected to last through early September.
