18-year-old man killed in stabbing Thursday night ID’d

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The 18-year-old Fort Wayne man killed in a stabbing Thursday night in Fort Wayne has been identified.

Muhammad A. Williams was stabbed in the 2700 Block of Stardale Drive and later died at an area hospital.

His death has been ruled a homicide.

COURT DOCS: Man admits to fatal stabbing Thursday night at Fort Wayne apartment

Draylon Crutchfield, 25, was arrested in connection with the stabbing Thursday night and allegedly admitted to killing Williams, according to court records.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
