Komets win 3-1 as “Blacksnakes” over Nailers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Fort Wayne Komets, aka the “Blacksnakes,” honoring the 122nd Fighter Wing for Military Appreciation Weekend, beat the Wheeling Nailers 3-1 on Sunday night at the Memorial Coliseum.
Komets forward Ture Linden scored the first two goals of the game for Fort Wayne.
