First Alert Forecast: Cloudy Monday, rain on the way
A bit breezy and cooler for Monday with highs in the mid 40s, but showers move in overnight and continue into Tuesday.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - After a quiet and nice weekend, it will be cloudy and wetter for the first half of the workweek.
A mostly dry and cloudy afternoon on tap with temperatures rising into the mid 40s. Isolated showers will roll in by late Monday evening and become more extensive overnight. More widespread rain is expected for Tuesday morning, creating some slick conditions for the morning commute. By Tuesday evening, the weather system will push out and the rain will gradually taper off.
After the rain on Tuesday, a drier and cooler trend will settle into the region. Highs will be in the 40s for the latter half of the workweek and Thanksgiving will be quite pleasant with highs in the mid 40s and mostly sunny skies.
