First Alert Forecast: Sunny and slightly warmer Sunday

Temperatures return to the 50s today but enjoy the sunny weather while it lasts because rain chances return early next week.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Yesterday, we made it to the 50s and the forecast calls for highs in the 50s once again. It will be quite a nice afternoon with lots of sunshine. Take advantage of the warmer weather while it lasts, the later portion of the workweek highs will be in the low 40s :(

The next system will be working in the region by early next week. Rain will move in 21Country by late Monday night into Tuesday early morning. Showers will continue for most of Tuesday until finally tapering off by Tuesday afternoon/night. Rain totals will be between a half to an inch of rain. After the system moves through, dry weather is expected for the rest of the workweek.
