FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - We already hit our official high temperature in Fort Wayne of 61 degrees at 1:55 AM today, now we’ll continue to fall out of the upper 50s this morning with a sharper decline in temperatures by the evening.

A cold front moves in scattered, light showers at times for the first half of the day. Morning temperatures are the warmest we’ll be at all day, we slip into the low 50s by noon and fall back into the 40s by this evening. As the front clears the area by the afternoon, cloud cover will begin to break apart. Clear skies should be present for any evening or night activities.

Christmas on Broadway will be dry, but it will be a bit chilly. Expect temperatures to start out in the upper 40s and quickly drop past sunset. Northerly winds will make it feel a bit cooler too, ranging from 35-45 degrees. Sunset tonight is at 5:20 pm.

The weekend will be sunny and dry. Another shot of strong Artic air moves in by midweek next week, plummeting us into the 30s in time for Thanksgiving.
