Blue Jacket’s Fantasy of Lights 2023

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fantasy of Lights is one of northeast Indiana’s favorite winter holiday events. This drive-thru holiday light display is held at Franke Park in Fort Wayne, Ind. and transforms it into a spectacular winter wonderland from Nov 19 - Dec. 31. There’s something new each and every year.
What to expect?
- We have a 2-mile route with over 550 individual pieces, some up to 30′ tall, creating 165 display scenes containing roughly1,500,000 beautiful LED lights (OK, so we lost count over time, but this number might be on the low side)!
- There’s something new each and every year, including 8 new displays for the 2023 season. See how many you can spot!
- Don’t forget to find “Elsie” the hidden green elephant, hiding somewhere on the route. Let the person in the Candy Cane Cottage at the end of the route know where you saw her for a special treat!
- Special Theme Nights Include: Nov 17 & 18 :: Winter Wonder Dash (see below) Nov 19 :: Opening Night Switch Flip - Sponsored by American Electric Power Foundation A Blue Jacket Client and their special family is awarded the great honor of turning on the lights for the season. Nov 20 :: Military Night - Sponsored by General Motors Veterans and active duty service members get in for FREE with valid ID. Nov 24 :: Santa’s Christmas Village Opens- Sponsored by ProFed and Fort Wayne Elks Lodge #155 The Christmas Village, running from November 24 - December 22, provides guests with the opportunity to visit Santa, shop, and enjoy tasty treats. Located at the Pond Pavilion. Nov 27 :: First Responders Night - Materials Handling Equipment Any First Responder in the fire, ambulatory, or public safety career gets in FREE with valid ID. Dec 4 :: Decorate Your Car Night - Preferred Automotive Group Those who decorate their vehicle in a holiday theme get in for FREE. Dec 11 :: Nursing Home Night - Sponsored by Fort Wayne Elks Lodge #155We love our residents cared for in facilities, so any logo-branded Nursing Home vehicle gets in for FREE. Dec 14 :: 3 Rivers Velo Sports Bike Night Members of this group will be escorted through the route as a brightly decorated collective of bicycles. Dec 18 :: Teacher Night - Sponsored by Star Financial Bank All teachers get in for FREE with valid ID. Dec 23 :: Santa’s Christmas Village Closes Last night before Santa heads back to the North Pole. Dec 26 :: Four-Legged Night - Sponsored by Dr. & Mrs. Ed McKaig & Humane Fort Wayne All cars with a four-legged friend get in for FREE and will receive a special treat from Humane Fort Wayne. Dec 31 :: FINAL Night | Pay What You Want Night All cars may choose the amount they would like to pay to enter.
