Saint Francis football picks up Senior Day win over Concordia

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Saint Francis football team picked up a quality victory, beating Concordia 34-24 in the final home game of the USF season.

The Cougars set the tone early on, going on a 20-0 run to start the afternoon.

Concordia fought back in the second half, but Saint Francis put the game out of reach, on Grant Gremel’s 23-yard touchdown pass to Derek Overbay midway through the fourth.

Gremel threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday. Cam Peterson led the rushing attack with 82 yards and two scores.
