Talent from Northeast Indiana highlights Purdue/Grace exhibition
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WPTA) - A lot of familiar faces stepped onto the court at Mackey Arena on Wednesday night.
Purdue defeated Grace 98-51 in the exhibition, a game that saw contributions from many former high school stars from Northeast Indiana.
Homestead grad Fletcher Loyer started for Purdue and had six points. Former Blachhawk Christian star Caleb Furst had 10 points off the Purdue bench.
Caleb’s younger brother, walk-on freshman Josh Furst, checked in late in the game.
Grace’s roster also has a lot of local talent, including two more Blackhawk Christian graduates, junior Marcus Davidson and freshman Gage Sefton.
Elijah Malone (Prairie Heights) and Brett Sickafoose (Whitko) also suited up for the Lancers on Wednesday.
