Leo carries experience into girls soccer state championship

LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Leo girls soccer team’s heading back down to Indianapolis.
The Lions will make it back-to-back appearances in the 2A state championship, after a 1-0 win over Mishawaka Marian last Saturday.
Leo had a tough result in the 2A title game last year, falling to Evansville Memorial 4-0.
This year’s seniors say they gained a lot from that experience, and it could help them capture this season’s state title.
Leo takes on Guerin Catholic on Friday night at 6pm at IUPUI.
