Komets sweep preseason games with Iowa

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Komets wrapped up their exhibition schedule with a 5-3 win over Iowa on Sunday.

Jack Dugan, Logan Dowhaniuk, Xavier Cormier, Shawn Szydlowski, and Ture Linden all scored goals for the Komets.

Sunday’s victory comes on the heels of the Komets 3-2 win over Iowa on Saturday night.

The Komets open the regular season on Friday night, with a game in Indianapolis against the Fuel.

Fort Wayne will host Indy in the home opener on Saturday night.
