MIDLAND, Mich. (WPTA) - The TinCaps were unable to end their playoff series at Great Lakes on Thursday night, falling to the Loons 3-2 in game two.
After some clutch hits on Tuesday night, the Fort Wayne lineup struggled on the road. The team mustered just two hits total, singles by Tyler Robertson and Lucas Dunn.
Damon Keith snapped a 1-1 tie and vaulted the loons in front with a solo homer in the fourth inning.
The TinCaps and Loons will end their series on Friday night, with a decisive game three starting at 7:05pm. The winner will move on to the Midwest League Championship series to face either Peoria or Cedar Rapids.
