FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Allen County Partnership for Water Quality was formed in 2002 to help educate citizens on pollution prevention measures. Public Education provides the unique benefit of improving the water quality of our rivers and streams, including our drinking water source.

Physical debris and pollutants dumped down the storm drain can clog storm drain systems and pose a hazard to the ecosystem. The water that enters storm drains is untreated which means that anything dumped into a storm drain flows directly to our rivers and streams. Only rain and clean water should be placed down the storm drains.
