TinCaps win slugfest at Dayton to maintain lead in standings

DAYTON, Ohio (WPTA) - The TinCaps picked up another critical victory on Wednesday night, beating the Dragons 13-9.
That win will keep Fort Wayne in playoff position, leading the Midwest League East second half standings.
Nerwilian Cedeño paced a dynamic TinCaps offense, going 3-for-5 with a three-run homer.
Fort Wayne collected 15 hits on the night.
West Michigan also won on Wednesday night, beating Great Lakes 6-5. The TinCaps lead the Whitecaps by 0.5 games. Each team has four games left in the regular season.
