Walk-On Wonder: Castaneda’s unconventional path to soccer stardom

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Sam Castaneda needed to earn a spot as a walk-on to start her college career at Indiana Wesleyan.
Then she had to do that again, walking on to play at Purdue Fort Wayne.
Now she’s one of the most highly-touted goalkeepers in the NCAA, and soon she could take her skills to the professional level.
