TinCaps hold on for 3-2 win over South Bend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The TinCaps took an early lead and held on late to pick up a 3-2 win over South Bend Wednesday night, in the final homestand of the 2023 season.
The TinCaps scratched across a pair of runs in the third inning, then added another in the fourth (Nerwilian Cedeño was the only TinCaps with a RBI hit).
Carter Loewen (W, 4-0) picked up the victory in relief, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings out of the Fort Wayne bullpen.
The TinCaps and Cubs continue their series on Thursday night at 7:05pm.
