Dry weather into the weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A weather system will drop south, but just to our west through the evening. As a result, some clouds and showers will increase through early evening. Very little precipitation is expected, however. The sun returns Wednesday, but skies may still be a bit hazy from upper atmosphere smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

Going into the weekend it will remain dry, but we’re tracking a low pressure system that could bring some rain into our area on Sunday. It’s still too soon to discuss specific amounts, but it looks like the wettest system in over a month at the very least! However, it appears rain chances will continue to be more miss than hit through next week.
