FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The TinCaps dropped the first game of their latest six-game series against South Bend 11-8 on Tuesday night.
The teams combined for 25 hits throughout the warm evening at Parkview Field.
San Diego OF prospect Joshua Mears launched a long home run in the losing effort.
The TinCaps and Cubs will continue this series on Wednesday night at 6:35pm.
