Carroll, Leo, Eastside win softball regionals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Carroll’s Emilia Garcia tossed a complete game shutout, and the Chargers earned a regional title with a 1-0 win over Huntington North.
Leo also capitalized on a standout pitching performance, in a 6-0 win at East Noble. Ellie Sauder picked up 15 strikeouts over six scoreless innings.
Eastside won a regional championship in the 2A bracket, beating visiting South Adams 8-2.
