Slow warming trend for weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A strong cold front crossed the area on Wednesday and cooler weather is in place for now. Temperatures tonight will drop well into the 40s but we should recover to the low 70s tomorrow with plenty of sunshine. For the long holiday weekend, mostly sunny skies are expected with clear nights. Temperatures will build through the 70s and will likely hit 80 on Monday. There is very little chance of rain through early next week.
