Dragons rally for walk-off win over TinCaps

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Dayton rallied back from a five-run deficit to stun the TinCaps on Thursday night, 7-6.
The Dragons walked it off against the ‘Caps, on a bases loaded single from Blake Dunn. Matheu Nelson scored the tying run, followed closely by Justice Thompson.
Colton Bender and Jakob Marsee both homered in the fifth inning, putting the TinCaps up 4-1. Fort Wayne would add two more runs in the top of the sixth.
Dayton chipped away in the bottom of the sixth, collecting three runs on a single and pair of RBI groundouts. Nelson launched a solo homer in the seventh to draw the Dragons within a run.
The TinCaps and Dragons play their next game on Friday night at 7:05pm.
