Tri Kappa to host annual ‘Pink Out’ in Auburn

AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA) - Tri Kappa of Dekalb County will host its 9th annual Pink Out Thursday. The event focuses on spreading awareness for early detection of breast cancer.

Tri Kappa has a Pink Out fund, intended to help DeKalb County residents with breast cancer expenses, including: detection screenings, treatment, co-pays and travel expenses for treatment.

There are a variety of organizations involved, including several local shops and restaurants. It will be hosted at the James Cultural Plaza in Downtown Auburn.

Here’s the schedule of events:

10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Pink Out themed shopping

5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Cruise-In

6 p.m. to 7 p.m.: American Legion Riders

6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Hubie Ashcraft performance
