Pichardo homer helps TinCaps claim another win at Dayton

DAYOTN, Ohio (WPTA) - Kervin Pichardo provided the biggest swing of the night, helping the TinCaps pick up a 5-1 win over Dayton.

Pichardo broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the seventh, with an opposite-field two-run homer off of Dayton pitcher Dennis Boatman. Fort Wayne would plate two more runs later in that inning.

The TinCaps pitching staff had another strong night, allowing just one run on four hits.

Bobby Milacki (W, 2-0) picked up the win in relief, throwing three scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, with no walks and six strikeouts.
