Fort Wayne’s Farmers Market making its move to Dynamo Alley
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne’s Farmers Market will kick off its summer season at its new Electric Works home this Saturday. A variety of local food and produce vendors will gather on Dynamo Alley along with live music.
The market will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays throughout the summer and fall. Electric Works is pet friendly and handicap accessible.
Parking will be available in the parking garage at the corner of Lavina Street and Broadway Avenue, in the 2-hour lots on Swinney Avenue and Wall Street and the three-acre parking lot across Broadway Avenue.
Anyone qualifying for SNAP or EBT government assistance can receive credit for fresh produce at the market. Market organizer Leigh Rowan says to just visit the host booth when you arrive to set up.
