‘Manzanas’ rally for win over Beloit

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Playing as the ‘Manzanas Luchadoras’ on Thursday night, the TinCaps picked up a 9-5 win over Beloit.
The special jerseys are a part of Copa de la Diversión, a series throughout Minor League Baseball honoring Hispanic heritage.
Trailing 5-2 in the middle of the seventh, the TinCaps scored five runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead, then added two more in the eighth.
The TinCaps and Sky Carp continue their series on Friday night at 7:05pm.
