FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Another football star from Snider will join the Cincinnati Bengals roster.

Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals announced the signings of 13 undrafted free agents, including Miami (Ohio) wide receiver Mac Hippenhammer.

Hippenhammer earns this opportunity after attending the Bengals rookie minicamp.

Hippenhammer helped Snider win a state championship in 2015, racking up 190 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in the 64-61 win over New Palestine. He would later go on to break Snider’s career receptions record.

Hippenhammer started his college career as a two-sport athlete playing both football and baseball at Penn State. He transferred to Miami before the 2020 season.

In 2022, he made 10 starts for Miami, and earned a spot on the Second Team All-MAC. Hippenhammer had 54 catches during his final college season, for 769 yards and nine touchdowns.
