Making mom’s weekend: Treat mom to a special day downtown

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Looking to become mom’s favorite? Take her downtown for Mother’s Day for a weekend of shopping and dining.
Back this year, the Downtown Fort Wayne organization will run trollies Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the 99-block district and around Main Street, Broadway Avenue and Wells Street Corridor.
Kim McCutchan of Downtown Fort Wayne tells 21Alive that dozens of downtown restaurants and shops will have specials deals and promos so you can treat mom this weekend. She says it’s a great way to explore what Downtown Fort Wayne has to offer.
