TinCaps victorious in Sunday’s series finale against Captains

EASTLAKE, Ohio. (WPTA) - After splitting their doubleheader Saturday against Lake County, the TinCaps were able to end their week on a strong note Sunday.
It was a home run frenzy on Sunday for Fort Wayne, as four different TinCaps players hit homers. Marcos Castañon led things off with a three-run home run in the first inning. Lucas Dunn, Jakob Marsee and Jackson Merrill each contributed with solo shots on the day.
Fort Wayne defeated the Captains on Sunday, 6-3.
Next up for the TinCaps is a six-game home series against the Beloit Sky Carp.
