TinCaps snap four game skid Saturday night

PEORIA, IL. (WPTA) - TinCaps nearing the end of their six-game series against the Peoria Chiefs. After dropping the last four, Fort Wayne trying to straighten things out Saturday night.
The TinCaps got off to a quick start with an RBI double from Nathan Martorella in the top of the first inning. Martorella had a fantastic day with four hits and 2 RBIs.
Not a bad day on the mound for Ryan Bergert, he had five strikeouts in the game.
Peoria would add in some runs in the fourth and fifth innings, making it 3-1, but the TinCaps would heat up in the eighth.
With the bases loaded for Brandon Valenzuela, he knocked a triple into deep right field for the three-run RBI.
Later in the inning, Marcus Castañon hits a three-run homer to catapult the TinCaps to a nine-run eighth inning.
TinCaps snap their losing streak and get the victory Saturday night. They win, 11-4.
