TinCaps win thriller on Saturday against Captains

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It was a beautiful day for some baseball at Parkview Field on Saturday.
There were plenty of highlights for the TinCaps offense Saturday. In the fifth inning, Carlos Luis took advantage of bases-loaded and knocked a grand slam into deep right. The fifth inning also included a two-run homer from Justin Farmer. Fort Wayne brought in seven total runs in the fifth inning.
But, the highlight of the day came in the ninth inning, when Jakob Marsee hit a walk-off RBI single to win it for the TinCaps, 12-11.
TinCaps back in action tomorrow to wrap up their series against the Captains at 1:05 p.m.
