TinCaps swept by Whitecaps in opening series

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WPTA) - The TinCaps season is underway, but off to a slow start.
After dropping the first two of a three-game series with the Whitecaps, Fort Wayne looked to avoid the sweep in Saturday’s matchup.
Nerwilian Cedeno lined an RBI double in the third inning for the TinCaps only lead of the game.
In the seventh inning, the Whitecaps would score three runs, including an RBI single by Ben Malgeri.
TinCaps fall in the game 3-1 and begin the season with three straight loses.
Fort Wayne hosts its home opener on Tuesday night against the Lake County Captains.
