Gigi’s Playhouse celebrates World Down Syndrome Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day and Gigi’s Playhouse says it’s a cause for celebration.

Tonight they’ll host a family fun night with dancing and giveaways. They say they are “getting down for Down Syndrome.”

They say they hope to create a world where individuals with Down Syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools and their communities.

Gigi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne is just one of 57 locations across the country striving to change the way the world views Down Syndrome.
