LOS ANGELES (WPTA) - Carroll graduate Drue Tranquill has apparently found a new landing spot in the NFL.

Jordan Schultz of theScore reports Tranquill has agreed to a one-year free agent contract with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Tranquill seemed to confirm the news with a tweet on Friday night.

Tranquill established himself as a standout player at Carroll, and then Notre Dame. The Chargers drafted the linebacker in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

During the 2022 season, Tranquill played in all 17 games, leading the Chargers with 146 tackles.
