FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A strong cold front has passed our area and has dropped temperatures from the 50s to the 30s. The bigger change is the gusty winds producing cold wind chills. For those out tonight on this Friday, real temperatures will drop into the 20s through evening, and into the teens by dawn Saturday. The wind will continue gusty with winds gusting to over 30 MPH, with wind chill values late tonight into early Saturday dropping into the teens and even the single numbers in a few spots. Not much snow is expected, but flurries are possible tonight into Saturday morning.

Highs Saturday afternoon will approach freezing with mostly sunny skies, but continued breezy conditions will make it feel more like the 20s.

A bigger thaw arrives early next week with highs returning to the 40s and 50s, and perhaps 60s by the end of next week.
