Short warming trend ahead
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - While it has been cold since this past weekend, a quick turn in our temperatures will begin tomorrow. The sun will return Wednesday and boost our temperatures into the 40s, though it will get even warmer Thursday with the high up to 50. However, this time of year it is difficult to have both mild temperatures and dry days, and Thursday will continue that trend as some light to at least briefly moderate rain is expected, primarily after midday through early Friday. By midday Friday, a strong cold front sweeps through increasing wind speeds and dropping temperatures down into the 30s to low 40s.
By Saturday, highs will struggle to make it much past freezing with partly sunny skies.
