FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Jessie Bates III has found a new NFL home.

According to multiple reports on Monday evening, the former Snider safety has agreed to sign with the Atlanta Falcons on a four-year contract.

Bates spent three seasons at Wake Forest after a strong high school career at Snider.

The Bengals selected Bates in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played his first five seasons in Cincinnati. Bates and the Bengals could not work out a long-term contract last off-season, and the safety played the year on the franchise tag. He became an unrestricted free agent this year.
