Both Indiana Tech teams advance in national tournaments

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The basketball teams at Indiana Tech both passed their first round tests in the NAIA National Championships.
The Warrior men defeated IU South Bend 82-57 in the opening round. Max Perez led Indiana Tech with 15 points off the bench.
Tuesday evening, the Indiana Tech women defeated Bryan College 63-48. Erika Foy put up 20 points with 14 rebounds and four blocks.
The Indiana Tech men will host Evangel University in the second round on Wednesday at 4pm. The Warrior women will take on Briar Cliff University at 6pm.
The Huntington men’s team fell to Pikeville 71-66 in a first round game in Alexandria, Louisiana.
