Sellers stars, but Mastodons come up just short in Horizon League Semifinals

INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA) - The Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball team took a massive step forward in 2022-23, but the run ended at the Horizon League Tournament semifinal, with a 69-65 loss to Green Bay.
Senior Shayla Sellers led the way for the Mastodons with 21 points.
Purdue Fort Wayne led by as many as 11 points in the second quarter. Green Bay flipped the script and built up an 11-point edge in the fourth, before the Mastodons cut that lead down to four.
The Mastodons end their season with a 14-19 record, their highest win total since the 2013-14 season.
