Komets streak snapped in loss at Allen

ALLEN, Texas (WPTA) - The Komets could not pick up a seventh straight win, falling in their opener at Allen 7-3.
The Komets got off to a solid start on Thursday night, taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission, after goals from Samuel Dove-McFalls and Garret Van Wyhe.
Allen took complete control of the game after that, scoring six consecutive goals over the second and third periods.
The Komets and Americans will play two more games in Texas this week, on Friday and Saturday night at 8:05pm.
