TELL JULIAN: A visit to Black Canyon
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - In this week’s episode of “Tell Julian”, morning anchor Julian Teekaram heads to Black Canyon Restaurant.
It’s been a staple on the city’s north side for many years, but if you haven’t been to Black Canyon in a while, you’ll notice some changes.
Co-owner Jason Fabini talks about the upgrades.
“We added a four seasons room. We had a patio that we couldn’t use all year round so we put garage doors on it. Made it a four seasons room. Made it inviting, you wanna come in there. You can have a private party there. Something we couldn’t do in the past,” said Fabini.
Fabini also says folks keep coming back for the great food and service.
“We’ve got delicious food here. We cook on a wood fired grill which is unique to Fort Wayne. We go through a lot of wood and as you guys have seen it makes a delicious steak.”
Julian not only got to try an 8 oz filet mignon, but staff also prepared the restaurant’s famous appetizers including Tex Mex Egg Rolls and Bang Bang Shrimp.
