FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A winter storm is developing in the southwest and will arrive in our area by late Tuesday. It is looking like a moderate snow event for our area, with difficult travel being the biggest factor. Wednesday will be a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY. While exact snow totals are not exactly known at the moment, there will certainly be enough to cause slick driving conditions. Wind with the system could also cause some blowing and drifting snow. Snow should arrive around dawn Wednesday and continue throughout the day. This could be an important winter storm. If you have travel plans on Wednesday, keep up to date with our FIRST ALERT weather team as we will keep tracking this storm.
