Homestead wins tournament with overtime victory over Mishawaka Marian, Northrop girls sweep games at PSM Shootout

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Homestead pulled off a 55-49 overtime win over Mishawaka Marian in the championship game of the Homestead Holiday Tournament.
Kyron Kaopuiki led the Spartans with 20 points. This was the first loss for the Knights this season.
Blackhawk Christian’s Isaac Smith put up 24 points, leading the Braves to a 72-50 win over Marquette Catholic.
Northrop’s girls picked up pair of victories at the new Parkview Sports Medicine Holiday Shootout at Trine’s MTI Center. The Bruins beat Elkhart 77-34, then defeated Tippecanoe Valley 67-32.
