Mastodon women fall to No. 15 Maryland

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball team fell to Maryland 88-51 on Wednesday afternoon.

Amellia Bromenschenkel turned in a standout performance for the Mastodons, with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

This game featured a match-up between siblings, as Purdue Fort Wayne guard Shayla Sellers faced off against her sister, Maryland’s Shyanne Sellerrs.

Shyanne led Maryland with 18 points. Shayla had six points with seven rebounds.

The Mastodons play their next game on Thursday, December 29th at Robert Morris.
