FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Warmer air and partly-to-mostly cloudy skies begin the work week with temperatures above average in the mid 40s followed by chances for overnight showers. Monday morning bring some of the coldest weather of the week with lows in the mid-to-low 20s under mostly cloudy skies. With warmer air shifting in from the southwest, highs will climb to the mid 40s by late afternoon with a few peeks of sunshine. Mild air will remain in place overnight, keeping lows in the mid 30s with a weak disturbance bringing a slight chance for a few stray showers that should wind down by early Tuesday.

Repeat weather arrives Tuesday afternoon as highs climb back into the mid 40s under partly-to-mostly cloudy skies. Another chance for late showers arrived Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning. Wednesday looks to be the warmest day of the week with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. The best chance for widespread showers during daytime hours arrives Thursday and Friday.

Have a great Monday!
