Windy Wednesday with falling temperatures

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Following heavy rain along a passing cold front overnight, colder air will shift in throughout a windy Wednesday as skies clear. Early morning temperatures range in the mid-to-upper 30s with lower temperatures expected through the afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the mid 30s as skies clear and turn mostly sunny. Winds will be gusty out of the west throughout the day.

Skies will remain clear overnight as colder air continues to funnel in, dropping overnight lows into the mid-to-low 20s. Winds will calm through the day Thursday though it will still be chilly. Highs will only make the mid 30s under mostly cloudy skies by late afternoon. Highs return to the 40s by Friday.
