FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - While the snow moved out of the area on Saturday, the cold air didn’t and that’s going to to hang around for a while.

Lake effect snow flurries are possible through the evening on Saturday, continuing until the early afternoon on Sunday. They won’t have too much of an impact in Fort Wayne, but the further northwest/west you travel, road conditions will be worse.

Saturday evening, temperatures will be in the low 30s, dropping down into the upper 20s on Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon, afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 30s, but the wind chill will be in the low 30s. So, bundle up if you’re heading out.

Cold temperatures will be the theme throughout the entire week. Our next weather system looks like it’ll impact us sometime Tuesday. However, there’s still some question marks of if we’ll see snow or a mix of rain and snow.
