FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Cold air is filtering in just in time for the weekend, and it looks like it’s hanging around.

When you wake up on Saturday morning, temperatures will settle into the low 30s. In the afternoon, the temperatures won’t be much warmer with upper 30s, low 40s likely for the high. Thanks to breezy conditions, the it’ll feel like 5-10 degrees cooler than the actual air temperature.

Snow flurries are possible on Saturday, mixed in with some light rain showers. Then, winds shift out of the northwest, bringing us lake effect flurries for the rest of the weekend. In terms of accumulation, not much by Sunday evening when the flurries end. A dusting at most with some higher accumulations near Lake Michigan.

High temperatures in the upper 30s, low 40s hang around through the entire week and our next weather system will move in mid-week. However, at this time there’s some uncertainty as to whether it’ll be rain, snow, or a mix.
