More sunshine, calmer winds for Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A gloomy, windy start to the weekend will make way to a much more pleasant Sunday.

The breeze will hang around on Saturday evening, but skies will clear some overnight. Temperatures on Sunday morning will bottom out in the mid-to-low 40s.

Sunday afternoon, we should experience a clear to mostly clear sky. Temperatures will max out in the mid 60s. Winds won’t be quite as intense, but will gust up to about 25mph at times (compared to the 50mph+ we experienced on Saturday).

The sunshine and warmer than average temperatures will hang around into the middle of the work week. Afternoon highs will max out in the upper 50s, low 60s Monday through Wednesday.
