FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The scattered rain/snow mix will continue into Monday night. At some times we’ll be dry, others it will be coming down hard. A good evening to stay inside.

Overnight, temperatures will fall down into the mid-to-low 30s by Tuesday morning. Snow accumulation is expected to be limited by ground temperatures, but places west of Warsaw could see some lake effect snow accumulate by Tuesday morning.

The rain/snow mix will keep on moving over our area into the late morning on Tuesday before transitioning to just rain on late Tuesday. Temperatures will only max out in the low 40s, and thanks to winds gusting up to 40 mph at times, the feels like temperature on Tuesday will be about 10 degrees cooler than the air temperatures.

Light rain will linger into Wednesday before we dry up later that day. Then a warming trend will ensue, which will bring 70 degree temperatures by the end of the week.
