FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Today starts with a mix of sun and clouds but will become increasingly cloudy and windy. 40 mph gusts are possible, making the mid 40s highs feel more like the 30s.

Showers move into the area during the afternoon with some mixing with wet snow possible especially later in the evening through overnight. Tomorrow should continue with rain and wet snow showers before turning drier Wednesday. Snow will melt on impact with but a light, wet coating of snow is possible on grassy areas.

Tuesday remains bitter cold with temperatures topping out near 40 but feeling like the 20s and 30s all day. Wednesday is warmer with highs in the mid 40s.

Temperatures rise all week with a mild weekend in store. We’ll have that and the latest on the rain and snow coming up at 12 and 5PM on ABC21.
